MJ Shepard-Nusbaum works with plant materials, beeswax, fur, clay, photos, and found objects, mostly in the Hudson Valley, and mostly making sculptures and prints. She draws inspiration from nature, dreams, memories, history, interconnected systems, and myths. Sometimes she burns and prints things. Sometimes she makes books and digital prints. Sometimes she plants for pollinators. Sometimes she camps with beavers.
