Hudson Valley printmaker MJ Shepard-Nusbaum is inspired by every-day experiences and works with collage, photography, encaustics and paint. She draws inspiration from fleeting moments in nature, dreams, memories, ancestry, interconnection and myth. Sometimes she burns things and prints them. Sometimes she makes books and digital prints. Sometimes she plants for pollinators in public and private places. Sometimes she rearranges the furniture.
